2021 95 Sangiovese, 5 Alicante Morellino di Scansano DOCG Antonio Sanguineti knew that winemaking was his calling from a very young age. At 16, he was making wine at his family’s farm near Siena. Now, he is known the world over for crafting wines with intention and innovation. This is 95% Sangiovese and 5% Alicante and the grapes are grown on vines that overlook The Tyrrhenian Sea. This wine is medium bodied and plush, with notes of black pepper, dried herbs and spice. Serve it with your favorite recipe for meatballs.
