Argentiera 'Poggio Ai Ginepri' - Toscana Rosso
2022 40 Cabernet Sauvignon, 20 Merlot, 20 Cabernet Franc, 10 Petit Verdot Bolgheri, Italy Known for its production of high-quality red wines, Tenuta Argentiera is located at a high elevation close to the Tyrrhenian Sea creating perfect growing conditions by giving the vines plenty of sunshine and coastal breezes. The first wine produced by this estate, ‘Poggio Ai Ginepri’ has quickly become the star of the winery’s line-up. This full-bodied wine is manually harvested and fermented in stainless steel tanks, followed by a 50/50 maturation for 6 months in stainless steel tanks and French oak barrels. This blend of 40% Cabernet Sauvignon, 20% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Franc, and 10% Petit Verdot has notes of cherry juice, red fruits, a touch of tobacco, and a touch of balsamic on the finish. Pair with mushroom risotto and rosemary herb roasted chicken.
