Contini "Sartiglia" Cannonau di Sardegna, 2022

This wine is made of around 90% Cannonau, and around 10% of local red grapes including Bovale and Nieddera. This wine has delicate tannins and a palate of red cherries, blackberries, and plums. We would pair this with grilled skirt steak tacos, or charcuterie including spicy and savory salami and hard cheeses. This bottling is from Oristano, on the mid-western coast of Sardegna, and features grapes grown on volcanic soils, for bright and concentrated flavor.
