Domaine Zafeirakis Assyrtiko, 2023

This wine is made of 100% Assyrtiko. We would pair this with a branzino, drizzled in lemon, olive oil, and oregano, and lightly fried, served with a cucumber, tomato, and feta salad. Of course, drizzle the salad in more olive oil and lemon. A classic bone-dry Greek white, with refreshing notes of lime zest, salinity, and minerality. Assyrtiko is one of the most well-known Greek whites, typically associated with the island of Santorini. This Assyrtiko comes from the mainland in Thessaly, and is much fresher and brighter, than its sharper island counterparts.
