Railsback Frères 'Soeur' Brick Barn Vineyard Vermentinu Santa Maria, 2020

Vinified in a mix of concrete egg and neutral burgundy barriques, using only native yeasts; each was allowed to complete a natural malolactic. After choosing two barrels of each terroir to bottle separately as a vineyard designate, the remaining barrels were then blended and bottled without fining, only a rough filtration, and only the smallest amount of SO2 added at bottling. The Brickbarn vineyard is located in the nearby town of Buelton on a terroir of pure sand, offering a more nuanced, delicate expression of the lemon-lime Vermentinu.
