Bodark Block B-6032-1/8" x 4" x 6-3/4"2 lbs.This is another very nice rectangular block of Bodark that, among other uses, could be suitable for the head of a mallet. The wood is basically the bright golden-yellow of fresh-cut Bodark heartwood.I see no cracks, checks or other significant flaws. There is an end of a small imbedded twig/limb on one side (bottom photo, top side). It appears to be quite sound, and I would simply reinforce it with thin CA glue.
