Maple Block Mp435 2.1" x 2.1" x 10.9" 1 lbs. This is an attractive spindle of Texas-grown Silver Maple. It has an overall light golden tone to the wood with a fine, even grain texture. The grain runs parallel to the long axis of the spindle and has gentle curves. There are a few small knots, generally of 1/4" diameter or smaller. This wood has been fully air-dried to 10-12% moisture content. This block is rough-sawn and has one wane edge.
