Natural Dyes - Tara Extract

Tara Extract Tara Extract is a rich natural tannin with low color.  This product is not ground Tara pods but an extract with a much higher Tannin content. In pre-mordanting baths, Tara extract enhances the mordant fixation on cellulosic fibers, which are usually more difficult to dye. Tara extract provides shades from beige to grey and black according to the dye-bath. Tara extract can also dye wool and cotton purplish black with iron sulfate. Use with Titanium Oxalate for beautiful shades of orange. ½ ounce (14 grams) for light 1 ounce (28 grams) for medium 1½ ounce (42 grams) for dark  Instructions for use included.
