Telex SR-400 - 17 Channel Receiver for ADA Hearing Assistance

The SR400 17 channel receiver is tunable to any of the frequencies used in Telex, Williams, and other transmitters.  It features a backlit LCD channel display, low battery indicator, and compatibility with the E.D.R. feature in the ST-300 and PST-170 transmitters for improved sound quality. Other key features include an advanced digital PLL synthesizer to tune all 17 narrow-band frequencies offered in the 72-76 MHz band. The receiver includes a special high frequency contour filter and boost switch to increase the intelligibility of the audio signal. Additional features include a battery saving automatic power shutoff when the earphone is unplugged. (Batteries and earphone are not included) Federal ADA requires that venues provide hearing assistance devices for 4% of the seating capacity and a hearing aid compatible neckloop for 1% of the seating capacity (with a minimum of 2 receivers and 2 neckloops per venue).  For example, a 100 seat venue would require 4 receivers and 2 neckloops.
