Workshop - Screenprinting - February 3, 2018

Saturday, February 3, 2017, 10am - 4pm Class size limited to ten people. $100 per person. Ages 14 and up. at The Bird Machine print shop in Skokie, IL. We will work collectively on printing a poster designed by Jay specifically for this class. We'll discuss the thought process that goes into designing a print, then cut rubylith, burn screens, and print an edition of less than 100 prints using four screens. We will hand-pull prints, and will also use the semi-auto press, and then we'll cover clean-up. Each participant will do hands-on work (and should come dressed appropriately) and will leave with a signed print from the edition. All materials included, but you're welcome to bring a drink or snack to share.
