This Tailor Thimble is handmade of solid sterling silver. It has a winter wreath theme. Invented by male tailors over 100 years ago, it is called an open top thimble. Your thimble finger should JUST peek out over the top rim of the tailor thimble. They are handy because if you swell (in the heat of summer) or shrink (in the cold of winter), it will just fit higher or lower on your fingertip.
