North Carolina Hockey Sweatshirt - 1789

Background: We've found you may not need one of our thick and embroidered hockey State Sweaters in the middle of the summer. You may want to show your state hockey pride in something a little lighter, so we're adding tees, sweatshirts, and a couple more items to our lineup to satisfy that need.  The story: North Carolina is an underestimated and underrespected hockey hotbed. From professional teams in Charlotte and Raleigh to youth and college teams ranging from Boone to Wilmington- North Carolina has a respectable hockey fanbase. We plan to release two NC designs, but for the first we kept it simple. North Carolinians love their flag so we focused on the flag inset into the state geography. The number 89 represents the year NC joined the union in 1789 as the 12th state. The fit: The fiber is a blend of cotton and polyester (80/20). The seams have ribbed knitting. Durability is further assured by the inclusion of neck tape backing. As such, the collars are elastic and stretchy. Runs tr
