Italian Roast

Taste: Mesquite smoke, roasted fennel Roast: Dark Body: Full and syrupy Acidity: Low Most of North America's current coffee scene owes its existence to an Italian invention from the turn of the 20th Century: the espresso machine. By forcing hot water through finely ground coffee at a very high pressure, espresso creates a rich, syrupy drink with more nuance, complexity, and caffeine than any other brewing method. Our Italian Roast is a nod to the earliest espresso blends, though it makes a fantastic drip coffee as well. Roasted very dark, this blend of coffees from four continents offers up a smoky mesquite-like character and caramel sweetness.
