№ 514 Transgender Flag Earrings
These earrings feature a beautiful mix of gemstones which represent the Transgender Pride Flag! 10% of all sales in the Pride Collection will be donated to the Trevor Project. The Transgender Flag was created in 1999 by Monica Helms, a transgender woman and was first shown at a pride parade in Phoenix, Arizona in 2000. Light blue and pink are featured because they are traditionally associated with baby boys and girls. The white stripe in the middle stands for those who are intersex, transitioning or consider themselves having a neutral or undefined gender. These Transgender Flag earrings feature turquoise, pink tourmaline and Herkimer diamond. The stones are mixed with handmade Thai silver beads and sterling silver findings. Read more about the stone meanings below. Earrings measure 1 ½” including earwire. Turquoise has traditionally been thought of as a stone to unite earth and sky. It is considered a strengthening stone while also instilling inner calm and enhancing intuition. I
