The Nonbinary Flag was created in 2014 by Kye Rowan, a non-binary person, as a complement to the genderqueer flag, they were 17 years old at the time. The flag has four colors, yellow stands for those who identify outside of the cisgender binary of male or female; the white color stands for multi-gender people; purple or lavender represents people who identify as a blending of male and female genders; and black signifies those who are agender or who feel they have no gender.
