Let's Throw a Shuttle! (An Intro to Weaving for Students Over 55)

“Let's Throw a Shuttle! (An Intro to Weaving for Students Over 55)”   In the "Let's Throw a Shuttle" program, led by Chris Acton of Acton Creative, students will experience weaving in a fun, hands-on environment, learning about a different weaving pattern each week. By the end of the 4-week program, each student will have a wallhanging sampler to take home. And to celebrate the completion, a special reception will take place involving friends, family, and the community in this unique handwoven experience.    This special program is made possible by a grant from the Indiana Arts Commission.    Class consists of 4 consecutive Mondays from 1-3 pm, and will be held at Three Moons Fiberworks in Chesterton, IN.  The cost to participate is $25. Students will need to only bring themselves. No other supplies are necessary.  First Session: Feb 3, 10, 17, 24 from 1-3pm, Reception February 28 at 1pm Second Session:  Mar 10, 17, 24, 31 from 1-3pm, Reception April 4 at 1pm
