Yarn Dyeing Workshop - Oct 18

Learn easy and direct method for dyeing animal fiber (wool, alpaca, cashmere, silk, etc) Students will use acid dyes to create their own unique color combination on silk/cashmere yarn Class participants will go home with written dyeing instructions, 800+ yards total of custom hand dyed yarn.  Class size is limited; payment is required to reserve your place in class. Masks that cover both nose and mouth are required. Students may choose between two options: Two 400 yd skeins of silk/cashmere fingering weight yarn  One 400 yd skein of silk/cashmere fingering weight yarn AND one 3 yard, 154 end pre-chained warp (may be used as a 10 inch wide warp set at 15 epi) Either option is $70; if students would like to dye a second batch (choosing option 1 or 2 above) the cost is an additional $45, payable the day of the workshop. (If you know you are going to want to do a second batch, please call ahead to reserve yarn - supplies are limited.)  Class starts at 10AM and will last about 90 min.
