maple serving set

CS936 (spork) - 13.75 x 2.5 x 0.375" CS937 (spoon) - 13.75 x 2.5 x 0.5" I always carve my spoons from kiln dried wood. This set, however, I carved from green, meaning wet, wood from our neighbor's maple tree. I cut and carve everything while the wood is wet and then let it air dry before I sand. The result is more organic, less symmetrical because the wood moves as it dries.
