Black Beauty Eggplant

First introduced in 1902 by W. Atlee Burpee, “Black Beauty” has become the standard garden eggplant variety.  Sturdy, medium-sized plants yield an abundant harvest of 4-6” fruit weighing up to 2lb each.  Fruit are dark purple, almost black in color and are best harvested while skins are still glossy.  Staking is recommended to support heavy yields.  80 days to harvest.  50 seeds per packet.
