The Thirties were ALL about the back! V-shaped cut-outs over the shoulder blades look gorgeous with the movement of the sleeves.One of the best features here isn't intentional but a sign of time's passing. The lace started out a shade of periwinkle blue but mellowed to the lavender shade that your monitor should be showing you. The periwinkle still exists in a few isolated spots, such as the folds of the sleeves over the underarms. This is NOT a perspiration discoloration! The color began blue and became purple.
