40’s 50’s Dusty Rose Striped Fit and Flare Dress

You can't go wrong with a classic silhouette like this! Beautiful 40's/50's fit and flare style, perfect for a cocktail party or twirling around on a dance floor. Features a lovely striped pattern, pleated sweetheart neckline, shoulder pads and cuffed sleeves. Still has original belt loops - however, no belt is included. No tag to indicate maker or fabric. Fabric feels like a nylon or polyester, but I am not 100% sure. It has a very nice sheen to it, especially on the stripes. Color is more of a dusty rose pink in the sun, but could be considered a shade of puce as well. This beauty is in very good vintage condition, I could find no major stains, holes or tears. There are a couple areas where the seams have been repaired (see photo), and a couple areas where the seams are coming loose. These are very easy repairs, and are not major. This is a rare, true vintage plus size find! Please note the measurements carefully, as there is NO stretch to this garment. Measurements taken lying flat.
