40s Wide Brimmed Straw Hat With Black Velvet Ribbon By Margorie Jill Play Girl Hat

A super cute 1940s vintage formed hard straw wide brimmed hat with a black velvet ribbon band. A sports style summer Forties hat.A tan real straw that has a wide brim only in the front giving it a cap like style.The velvet band dips down on the side and ends in tails in the back.The front brim is 3" wide and the crown is 4" high.It fits slightly to the back of the head.A small grosgrain ribbon inside band.The label is so cute.It had a elastic back band but it was damaged so I removed it.It stays on without it.21" inside.The hat is in excellent condition, but the velvet ribbon has a few tiny tears.
