70’s Brown Carved Dangle Earrings

Pair of brown dangle/drop earrings. The bead looks like wood, but it is really a plastic or resin of some sort, carved with a swirl pattern top to bottom. Very possibly hand carved- the carvings are not uniform by any means. Black/Gunmetal color chain and stud. Very pretty, when the light hits them, as you can see they are almost a dark amber color. These were a little difficult to photograph, the photo of them in my hand is the closest to the real color - they are pretty dark.I do not know what kind of metal these are, so I do not know if they are hypoallergenic.Measure approximately 1. 75" top to bottom, the bead alone is about 3/4 of an inch, not including bottom. Other than the inconsistency in the swirls and mismatched backings, I really could find no issues with these vintage earrings.
