The coenzyme form of B-12 (5 doexyadenosyl cobalamin) This is the active form and is more efficiently utilized than the usual cyanocobalamin form of B-12. For normal absorption B-12 requires intrinsic factor, but even without intrinsic factor, 1-2% of B-12 can be absorbed, since there are 500 mcgs per capsule in this supplement. It is considerably more than the RDA of 2 mcg and should be absorbed by anyone taking it. There are 180 capsules per bottle.
