The Marathon Victory Bike, created in collaboration between Throne Cycles and The Marathon Brand, is a contemporary nod to the iconic and once highly coveted 1989 Huffy Sonic 6. Back in the day, this bike wasn’t just a ride; it was a status symbol. Every kid in that era wanted one. It represented freedom, speed, and style in a way nothing else did. Our team was lucky enough to track down an original Sonic 6 to reference for our version, allowing us to honor its legacy while bringing it into the present with a fresh, modern edge for riders to relive the magic from '89.
