The Patriot is a formidable, Dyneema® reinforced down jacket derived from our record breaking Summit Suit. Featuring a 100% recycled and PFC free Pertex® Quantum Pro outer for weather and down proofing, 750 white goose down fill for maximum insulation and abrasion resistant Kyoto Black Dyneema®. The Patriot is the go-to for static activity in freezing conditions. ThruDark first made a name for itself designing the Summit Suit that broke world mountaineering records, climbing the 14 peaks in the fastest time ever. From this pinnacle of performance, we took the same fabric technologies and design techniques and converted these into an insulated jacket perfect for life below the death zone - the Patriot Jacket. Pertex® Quantum Pro combines a tightly woven face fabric with a microporous coating to deliver a very high level of water resistance, whilst remaining lightweight, soft and breathable.
