This coat is also inspired by the movie Almost Famous, wherein the main groupie dons a beautiful, long fur-trimmed coat. The character in that legendary movie was inspired by the real-life groupie Pennie Lane Trumbull. We have talked with the real Miss Pennie, and she is the sweetest gal! We wanted to dedicate every coat that we make in this style to her by calling them "Pennie Lane" coats (versus the common term "Penny Lane" coats).
