It does show some wear from use as seen in the pictures. This watch is an open face. The face is in gold with Roman Numerals and a D & S C monogram. The inside of the watch is marked Knickerbocker Watch Co. Switzerland & New York. The movement features 7 jewels with 2 adjustments. The watch is hanging from a mesh fob with gold tone end caps connected to a large spring ring which also connects the beautiful wide mesh neck chain with matching gold tone end caps. The back of the watch is embossed with a flower design.
