It is UL classified, ASTM E 814 (UL 1479) listed, and has been approved for use in over 100 fire-rated assemblies, making it a highly compliant and reliable option for firestopping. All systems rated for up to 4 hours and prevents spread of flames/smoke/hot gases/water. The Metacaulk 150+ is a one-component, gun-grade, elastomeric sealant that can be used to seal around electrical boxes, cables, and pipes to help prevent the spread of fire.
