Moon through the Pines

That moment when you turn the corner on a path and there shines the moon right in front of you, there to take your breath away. It's like the surprise of a card in the mailbox from someone. Our Mom has always LOVED the moon ("Look at the moon!" she would frequently gasp in awe when we were younger and driving at night or on an evening walk.) So this painting honors her as well. Before I designed cards I did a bunch of landscape oil paintings. It was fun to return to painting landscapes.  I hope this card provides a perfect versatile card in your stash when none of the cards with phrases seem to fit. (It would probably be worth stocking up!)
