Handcrafted Maasai Beaded Earrings.  These gorgeous handcrafted Maasai beaded rod earrings are handcrafted in the painstaking tradition of the culture. In Maasai culture, a woman's status and position in society are reflected in the beadwork she wears, which in modern times is shown in detailed beadwork and color patterns. The Maasai people chiefly inhabit the areas between Southern Kenya and Northern Tanzania. The colors in Maasai jewelry have meaning. Red symbolizes warriorhood and bravery.
