Eye See You End Grain Cutting Board

I believe this is walnut. The combination of sap wood and heart wood gives the appearance of eyes looking at you. The board features a tapered bottom to make it easier to pick up. The log it is made from was among some walnut logs harvested from a local tree but I'm not positive about the species. It measures 11" x 15" x 1 3/8".
