Pezzottaite. This is one of the newest minerals in the gem world, dating back to its discovery in Madagascar in 2002. Although it was thought to be a cesium rich beryl, it was recognized as a new, separate mineral the following year. Whether it?s called raspberry or strawberry, the color is a great orangy to purplish pink. The material is always included but these could be faceted. In sizes from 1 to 8 carats each.
