HOW TO GERMINATE LOTUS SEEDS There are many ways to germinate lotus seeds! Look at your seed, there is a small brown spot which is the resting bud, this is where new leaves will grow. It’s a good idea to mark this side up before sowing so you can tell which way is up when planting. The best time to germinate your lotus seeds depends on whether they have been presoaked or not.
