Salprieta is a peanut-based ancestral preparation from the Pacific coast of Ecuador—the land where To’ak chocolate was born. If peanuts and chocolate are a match made in heaven, we’re taking it to the next level. Golden Peanuts is made with Salprieta, an ancestral condiment made of heirloom varieties of corn and peanuts that are ground into a powder and seasoned with achiote, coriander seeds, and salt. The Salprieta is sourced from Hugo Gonzenbach in Manabi, Ecuador, and the achiote from Doña Eugenia in Bogotá, Colombia. Like nature, our ingredients change flavor with the seasons.
