Chasen or tea whisks are used when brewing matcha powder and allow the powder to be vigorously mixed with water to create the signature bright green delicacy that is matcha. The stand allows you to place the chasen aside after or between uses, but also serves as a wonderfully decorative way to display your chasen, which are often works of hand-made art in their own right. As each of the chasen stands are hand-made in small-batch production, they are each slightly unique in their shape and comes packaged in a small stylish gift box, perfect for gifting.
