Bamboo used in Kohchosai Kosuga products is light-weight and very sturdy. Kurochiku is named after the type of bamboo used and is unique in that every pair of chopsticks is prepared naturally and has its own distinct patterns. The grip is made with a woody vine (Wisteria) native to Japan.
