Trapdoor Pond Snails

Trapdoor Snails are freshwater snails that are tranquil, non-aggressive algae eaters. They will spend hours on end scouring your tank for uneaten food as well as other edible material. Trapdoor snails can take a bit of time to adjust to their new environment. They are slow moving and very cautious animals, so do not be alarmed if they are motionless over a period of time. Snails are very hardy and are recommended for beginners, because they require very little care. Our snails range in size depending on age, but will generally by 1-2 inches.
