Arnot-Roberts Trousseau 2022

Country: USA Region: North Coast Type: Red Wine Grape: Trousseau This wine is a blend from three Trousseau vineyards in the North Coast--Luchsinger, Boham and Bartolomei. Volcanic/gravelly loam soils. Native yeasts used for both primary and secondary fermentations. All of the lots were fermented 100% whole cluster and the wine was aged for 11 months in a combination of neutral French oak barrels, puncheons and foudre. A pale, light-bodied wine with concentrated aromas of cranberry, raspberry, licorice, smoke, and cloves, with a crunchy, acid-driven palate.
