Country: France Region: Beaujolais Type: Red Wine Grape: Gamay Elisa Guerin is the daughter of a winegrower and has been making wine since 2019 vintage in Moulin à Vent & Beaujolais-Villages. She focuses on quality work in the vineyard, in order to obtain beautiful vines, healthy soils and balanced grapes. Her winemaking is as low-intervention as possible.  Elisa Guérin works organically without certification and shuns winery intervention except for a minimal sulfur addition pre-bottling.Ultimately, she seeks to respect the expression of gamay as much as possible, making wines that are fruity, complex, tannic or fine, depending on the terroirs.   This is 100% Gamay from one of the old family plots at the very beginning of organic conversion, planted  over loam-y granite, peppered with limestone and quartz.
