Country: France Region: Languedoc-Roussillon Type: White Wine Grape: Terret Blanc/Terret Rosé/Marsanne/Grenache Blanc A rich white wine made mainly with Terret Blanc and Terret Rosé grapes from 70 year-old vines, along with Marsanne and Grenache Blanc. The vineyard’s terroir is unique as it is volcanic, and consists of basalt rock, which lends a minerality and elegance to this white. The alcohol is just 12.5%, which is very modest for Languedoc; a result of both the terroir and how Bories Jefferies works the vineyard. He farms organically and vinifies naturally, using no additives and no sulfur, aiming for a complete and pure expression of his vineyard. Fresh and elegant, with notes of apple and gooseberry, and a core of minerality.
