Cotoneaster salicifolius 'Repens' Willowleaf Cotoneaster (so-called because its leaves resemble those of a willow tree) is a vigorous, evergreen shrub with low-growing, arching branches that creep and spread. White flowers in May are followed by shiny bright red fruit in September-October.  Foliage will take a purple tinge in colder seasons.
