Cal Hawk High Energy Ignition Spark Tester

Check for any spark in no-start condition. Test standard, electronic or DIS kV. Assists in determining coil voltages. Designed to prevent high energy sparks arching directly to any ground. Attach clip to metal (ground) where tester is away from flammable liquids, fumes and will not be subject to vibrations.  Select a spark plug wire long enough to reach tester, and uncap it at the spark plug then cap it onto the tester. Set test gap to 10mm, normal spark.  Start engine.  (S/E) standard ignition minimum spark gap indicated by "S"  Electronic ignition minimum gap (10mm) indicated with "E" When gauging voltage, turn tester screw counter clockwise to increase gap. 2kV Marking: (2/0) 3kV marking: (3/0) 4kV marking (4/0).
