These high ankle russet brown boots primary footwear issued to US airborne personnel leading up to D Day. They were coveted and sought after by many other branches of service too. These boots feature: 12 eyelets Toe cap Interior ankle support (canvas strip sewn inside... evidenced by the distinctive two rows of stitching on the outside of the ankles) Double stitched and tacked black rubber mid sole.
