TINCUP was an old mining town set on the western side of the Rockies named after the old cups the miners would drink from. The name TINCUP Whiskey and the cap on the bottle are both nods to this piece of Colorado history.  TINCUP is a blend of two great American whiskeys, each aged in charred oak barrels. “High rye” bourbon, distilled and aged in Indiana, is blended with a small amount of Colorado single malt whiskey. These whiskeys are then cut with Rocky Mountain water. TINCUP is named for the Colorado mining pioneers and the tin cups from which they drank their whiskey.  TASTING NOTES Color: Caramel Aroma: Citrus, black pepper, ginger snaps Flavor: Rye spice, cinnamon, caramel Finish: Rye spice with a clean finish OUR PROCESS TINCUP starts out as three ingredients: corn, rye and malted barley. “High rye” bourbon is distilled in the grain belt of the Midwest where top-notch raw grain product is available for whiskey making.
