México Zapotitlán Washed
This washed lot from the Zapotitlán Cooperative is mellow and balanced. With notes of fresh pecan, cacao nib, and rich tobacco, this offering represents all of the qualities one would anticipate from a superb Mexican coffee. It’s no secret that 2025 has been among the most challenging years for the specialty coffee industry the world over, and we’ve been doing our best to make more direct trade connections to bring our community the caliber of coffees they expect from us. Earlier this year, our team met with Ernesto Pérez to begin sourcing coffee from their operation. Ernesto helms APG, a coffee milling powerhouse located in Veracruz, a region of México just south of Puebla, where this coffee was produced. Our team has been cupping Mexican coffees for the better part of a decade, and the samples we tried from APG have been remarkably clean, consistent, and balanced. As we gear up to announce more of our direct trade partnerships, we are beginning with this release from a small but migh
