Intro to Machine Quilting - Pie Carrier

In this intro to machine quilting class, you'll create a pie/casserole carrier - perfect for holiday get togethers! This is a great project for anyone who has some beginner machine sewing skills who wants to learn to quilt! You'll learn to cut fabrics, learn to back the piece, machine quilt it, and construct the carrier. Class Breakdown (3 hours): -Cut fabric out -Pin baste with batting and backing together -Machine quilt the piece -Finish carrier construction with straps Skills you will learn rotary cutting Machine quilting techniques how to construct the carrier You’ll take home a finished pie carrier! Skills expected: Beginner sewing skills (we don't go over how to sew start to finish in this class. If you've made a few simple projects on a sewing machine, you're good to go.)
