Advanced Beginner - Skills Drills!

In our Skills Drills 2.5-hour workshop, you’ll get a chance to explore the building blocks of sewing in a fun, relaxed way! Instead of making a project, the focus will be on learning and practicing core techniques that will set you up for success as you grow in your sewing journey. You’ll rotate between two stations (about 45 minutes each), where our instructors will demonstrate essential sewing techniques across three categories. You’ll have prepared fabric scraps to try things out hands-on, but the intention is to practice, experiment, and soak up knowledge rather than finish a project. Think of it as a sampler night—a chance to see how different skills work, ask questions, and gain confidence in the basics that every sewist builds on. It’s light, interactive, and fun—perfect for anyone who wants to explore sewing foundations and build on their skills.  (It's not really a drill of any kind... just tried to think of a fun name!)
