Artist Jacqueline Duhême was commissioned by the First Lady to document both historic visits abroad: state dinners at the Élysée Palace, a ballet at Versailles, camel rides in Karachi, and Jackie’s moonlight visit to the Taj Mahal. - Duheme’s playful, jewel-like illustrations were compiled in 1998 into this charming edition, first published in 1998 and currently out of print.
