Dandelion Leaf (Taraxacum officinale) is a common food item during the summer months for a lot of species of tortoise.  When you can't find fresh dandelion in the yard or at the market, this is the perfect replacement! Adding new items to feeding time helps to encourage a stronger feeding response and provides enrichment.
